A wet cold morning in Foxford. Heavy rain overnight and the river has started to rise, it is now at 0.6m at Ballylahan bridge. Yesterdays wind has stirred up the Loughs and theres a lot of sand in the water through Foxford. Its not going to be a good fishing day. Try plan B 🙂

A pretty windy morning in Foxford. The River is in good order 0.48m at Ballylahan bridge (soon need water up there) through Foxford and further downstream it looks good. All methods should work but it is a particularly nice day for spinning. Heavy rain forecast for tonight, lets see what happens.

A misty but milder morning in Foxford. The River is at 0.83 at Ballylahan bridge and should be in good enough order for all methods. Levels are Falling on the Loughs and the River from Foxford downstream is also getting to a better level. Pontoon Bridge is worth a try also.
