A cool dry morning in Foxford. The river is at 0.78m at Ballylahan bridge and is suitable for all methods. Fishing was good yesterday and fish were taken on East mayo, Cloongee and around Foxford. Yesterday turned out to be a pretty good day on the river. A good number of fish caught, primarily on spinners. Levels have held overnight and the water is now at 0.94m at Ballylahan bridge. It is suitable for all methods.

The water is falling at the moment 1.05m at Ballylahan bridge. It is slightly coloured but in good condition for spin or worm fishing. Today’s forecast doesn’t give a lot of rain for this area so the river should be in good condition for the weekend.

Shaping up to be a wet and windy weekend. The river is in good condition at the moment, it may creep up a few inches later today but will be ok. Spinning and Prawn downstream of Foxford, bubble and fly or Fly rod on East Mayo and Cloongee fisheries for today.
