High cloud and a little bit of breeze in Foxford this morning, a nice fishing day. The river came up a little yesterday but it was a little, peaking at 0.36m at Ballylahan bridge. That’s not a lot of water but as I have said before, it all helps. Good reports of fish moving and as has been the case recently they are keeping their mouths shut. Looking at the forecasts it looks like we will have some more persistent rain tomorrow. A good flood is needed to flush out the system. For today, prawn will be the best method. The shop is open from 8am to Noon today and will re open at 8am on Tuesday morning.
