Not as grey this morning in Foxford and it looks like a nicer day for fishing. Yesterday we had drizzle for most of the day. Not enough rain for a big rise in levels but it will put a shot of fresh water through the system which will stir a few fish into taking. The level at the moment is 0.3m at Ballylahan bridge and I would expect it to make 0.5m or thereabouts. The ridge pool reopened yesterday and we heard good reports from anglers. For today, worm and spinning will be the best methods, for anyone interested in fly fishing East Mayo Anglers waters will be worth a try.
