A grey and damp morning in Foxford, not enough rain to do damage but some heavy showers. The river is now at 0.48m at Ballylahan bridge and is suitable for all methods. For anyone that wants to try the fly, East Mayo Anglers waters will be well worth a look while further downstream spin and worm will still be the best methods. The best of the fishing yesterday seems to have been in the morning, by late evening it was gone quiet. Some more rain forecast for tomorrow which looking at the predictions will not be anything too major, enough to top up levels and keep fish moving, lets see what happens.
