A grey overcast morning in Foxford. The river is now at 0.34m at Ballylahan bridge, it will probably hold at this for the day. We do have a nice breeze which will help and it should be a good day for spinning or bubble and fly. Reports from most parts of the river are that there’s lots of fish throughout the system and this is certainly true around Foxford, getting them to take is the hard part.. This will change at some point and someone will have a great day. Looking ahead to the weekend it looks like we will have more rain but its uncertain yet as to how much.
