A dry morning with a blue sky in Foxford, it looks like we will have a reasonably dry day. The river is now back to 0.33m at Ballylahan bridge. The rain at the weekend has helped , well at least it brought some fresh water which did move a good number of fish. Those fish are proving difficult to catch!. I don’t know know why and can only assume that its a peat stain in the water or the thundery weather . That might change, there’s fish in the river anyway. For today its suitable for all methods.
