A dry morning so far in Foxford, there is a forecast for heavy showers including hail!. Yesterday was a day of mixed reports from the Moy. Most anglers were reporting seeing good numbers of fish moving. Downstream of Foxford there were some decent catch reports while upstream the take was not so good, this may have been because of water clarity. Today should be better for anyone fly fishing, not so windy and the water will have cleared. Overall there seems to be a good number of fish around and angling should be good for the week. We will most likely have more water but that’s uncertain yet. The shop is open today until Noon and will reopen at 8am on Tuesday morning.

A dull morning in Foxford. The river has crept up by a few centimeters but nothing major. It is now at 0.55m at Ballylahan bridge.
