A dry morning with a little bit of sun in the skies over Foxford. Yesterday was wet for the early part of the day and this caused a second rise in levels, it was falling until about midday and then started to creep up again. It is falling again this morning and is now at 0.93m at Ballylahan bridge. Today should be a good day for spinning and worm fishing. Reports from down river yesterday were that in the early part of the morning a lot of fish were showing and a few were taken on worms, after lunch it went quiet. The forecast is for more rain tomorrow which is good in many respects but with levels already up it will most likely cause problems for Friday.
