A grey and damp morning in Foxford. We had rain overnight, not exactly sure but something around 8mm. Looking at the sky and the forecasts it is not finished yet and we will most likely have more today. The river is already creeping up and is now at 0.76m at Ballylahan bridge. Conditions for fishing will be ok for most of the day but later on I would expect some colour in the water. Even with the fresh water and fish moving, fishing has been difficult and nearly all anglers are seeing fish but there’s only a few catching them (Obviously they need more new equipment 😁). I don’t know the reason, the fish just ain’t playing ball. Lets see what happens with todays rain.
