Sunday 13/07/2025

Its hot already and my old laptop seems to be feeling it, the fan is at full speed and making noises I haven’t heard before while every program I try to open fails, oops. Anyway, I managed to get this far if a bit late. There’s no great news on the fishing front and today looks like another bright one. Looking at the various forecasts it does look like we will have some thunder rain from about 3pm today and it will continue for most of the evening followed by lighter rain into tomorrow. Thunder showers can be very localised so lets see what actually falls. It does look like the weather is going to change in the coming days and we have a Low pressure to the west which should bring things back closer to normal. For today, I would skip the early part and be ready for the afternoon. Very often, immediately after thunder the fish switch on. Please note I said “After Thunder” There’s a fine line between being a smart angler and a fool. Smart angler seizes the opportunity and catches fish After the thunder, Fool waves a lightning conductor During the Thunder. The shop is open today from 8am to Noon and will reopen at 8am on Tuesday morning.
