A hazy start to the day in Foxford, it may not be so bright today. Cloud cover would help. The river is now at 0.42m at Ballylahan bridge. Still good numbers of fresh fish moving and some anglers are having good sport catching fresh sea liced fish. Most of the fish we heard about yesterday were taken on fly or worm. There is still a slight “Peaty” hint in the water which could be slowing up the take. Again today the fly, and worm in some of the deeper stretches will be the best methods, as the water clears fully the prawn will work.
