A bright morning in Foxford, the forecast is for a little cloud cover later in the day. It looks like we are heading for a period of brighter weather towards the weekend. For today the river is at 0.5m at Ballylahan bridge and is suitable for all methods. If we do get some cloud cover and a little bit of wind later the bubble and fly will be well worth trying. At the moment Prawn or even worm in some of the deeper parts of the river should work. Lots of fish throughout the system and there’s still some fresh sealiced fish been caught. Reports from the estuary are that there’s still lots of fish down there. The warmer sunny weather will suit sea trout fishing on the estuary and is worth thinking about this coming weekend.

Slightly hazy to start but it is already burning off, another difficult salmon angling day ahead. We did get reports of some salmon caught yesterday

Had 3 fish today on East mayo. All on worms. Still heaps of fresh fish passing through. Must have seen 50 or more making their way up through the fast water below the long bank and then throwing themselves passing the rock to shale the sea lice. 2 of the fish today caught today had sea lice
Very well done Sean, thanks for the info
