A bright morning in Foxford, the forecast is for a little cloud cover later in the day. It looks like we are heading for a period of brighter weather towards the weekend. For today the river is at 0.5m at Ballylahan bridge and is suitable for all methods.  If we do get some cloud cover and a little bit of wind later the bubble and fly will be well worth trying. At the moment Prawn or even worm in some of the deeper parts of the river should work. Lots of fish throughout the system and there’s still some fresh sealiced fish been caught. Reports from the estuary are that there’s still lots of fish down there. The warmer sunny weather will suit sea trout fishing on the estuary and is worth thinking about this coming weekend.
