Another dark and damp morning in Foxford. The river is big and brown, 2.0m at Ballylahan bridge and it will keep rising for another while. It would be a good day to check out alternatives, the Moy will be very difficult. For anyone that does decide to fish, the further downstream you can go the better. The Canal stretch at Ballina could be worth a visit, it has fished well in the last while. We will be closing at Noon today and tomorrow.
