A dark showery morning in Foxford and a few of those showers are heavy. The river is dropping at the moment and is well down on yesterday. Now at 1.36m at Ballylahan bridge it is still pretty coloured, suitable for worm or spinning. This mornings rain will most likely hold this level or even rise it again later today. This flood will have really freshened up the river and has given the fish that were lying about during the hot spell a chance to move upstream, all good for the future.
