A dull breezy morning in Foxford. The forecast is for some heavy rain between now and tomorrow and it looks like it is on the way. If we do get the rain forecast we should get a decent flood which will move some more of the fish that are lying in the tidal waters. Realistically, I think we are looking at Tuesday or Wednesday before the river comes back into order, this of course is subject to what rain falls and when. For today the river is at 0.26m at Ballylahan bridge and will be suitable for all methods, spinning is well worth a try. The shop is open today from 8am to 12 Noon and will re open at 8am on Tuesday morning.
