The “Big Rock” a spot close to my house that I fish regularly. Don’t ask how it got the name, some people are just so creative!.

A very hazy morning in Foxford, not much rain but it is getting wetter. We had a few showers yesterday evening and there’s a good drop promised for tonight. I took the above picture this morning. Im figuring that from here on the river will start to creep up so this will be a shot of the Big Rock at possibly the lowest level we will see it for a long time. Yes the river has been lower in the past so its not a record but it is low. In the future we can use the big rock as a physical object (i don’t see it moving anytime soon) to gauge water levels, todays pic been rock bottom. Today is not shaping up to be much of a fishing day, for anyone that is heading out Prawn will be the best method. If we get some wind later bubble and fly might work.  Lets see what the rain brings in the coming days.
