There’s a different feeling this morning, instinct perhaps but it says Fish!

A darker morning with a good amount of cloud in the sky over Foxford, certainly a change from yesterday morning. No rain yet and no change in water conditions. Its very low now, 0.17m at Ballylahan bridge and new stones appearing in Foxford daily. Well perhaps not new stones but stones we have not seen for a while. I have a feeling that at some point today the bubble and fly will work and if i didn’t have to work id be heading to Lough Conn for a day after brown trout. It has a certain feeling this morning, there’s going to be fish caught today. Anyway, now that iv’e sat here for ten minutes debating the pros and cons of disappearing for the day iv’e decided I better not. Time for work….
