Saturday 03/08/2024

Another dry morning with a bit of blue sky over Foxford. There is an Autumnal feel to it and there’s a nip in the air, a sign of where we are at. It rained yesterday morning until mid day but this has little or no effect on water levels, the river is now at 0.25m at Ballylahan bridge, it may creep up by a couple of centimeters as the day goes on. There is rain forecast for Monday which could make Tuesday/ Wed of next week interesting, we will have to wait and see what happens. For today, all methods will be worth a try, if the water does come up a little spinning should be good.
