Following yesterday afternoons rain we still have a little drizzle around Foxford this morning. As predicted yesterdays rain was Thundery and there was heavy showers in places. The river is rising a little at the moment. It is at 0.8m at Ballylahan bridge and should go above the 1m mark. If we get some more rain as is forecast this evening and tonight then we should have a fairly decent rise by tomorrow morning. Its looking good for the remainder of the week and into next weekend. For today, the water has not coloured in Foxford yet and is still suitable for all methods. This is likely to change as the day progresses, worm and spinning will then be the best methods.
