Low water on the Moy in Foxford 04/07/2021. Bakers fishery “Johny Henrys Field”

A cloudy morning in Foxford. Difficult to say whether it will rain or not. We had a short period of heavy rain yesterday evening, not enough to have a real effect on levels. The river is up by approx 10cm and is now at 0.32m at Ballylahan bridge, it might stir things up a little this morning. Plenty of fish throughout the system and a lot lying in the tidal water. We got several reports from anglers yesterday that the Ridge pool is fishing very well. The forecast is for some more rain this afternoon and again tomorrow afternoon. This will most likely be heavy thunder showers which can fall anywhere. Lets just hope a few of them fall in the right place. For today there should be a few fresh fish moving between pools, spinning could be worth a try. We will be closing the shop at Noon today.
