A still morning in Foxford with light rainfall. The river is at 0.27m at Ballylahan bridge, getting low again. It looks like the weather for  week ahead will be good for fishing, not to much sun forecast at least. Over the weekend there was a good number of fish caught on the Moy and several anglers had good catches. Prawn, spinning and bubble and fly were the best methods. On the trout fishing front I got two very different reports from Lough Conn at the weekend, two men fishing at Victoria bay and Breacwansha on Saturday didn’t get a rise while two Local men we were chatting to on the shore yesterday evening had a good few small trout in Victoria bay and four good trout to dries at Breacwansha. Two different days but I would say that the Lough is starting to fish again. There’s always some good trout fishing on Lough Conn in August. We will be open from 8am to Noon today.
