Still a little bit of drizzle in Foxford this morning. Yesterday was wet, perhaps not as wet as we would have wished for. A lot of the heavy rain stayed west of us. Still, its not too bad, the river is rising and is now at 0.63m at Ballylahan bridge. It will probably peak at 0.8m or thereabout. This is not a big flood but it will make for a few good days fishing as fish lying from Foxford downstream move. It might not be enough to move fish from the estuary, we will have to wait and see later today.  The forecast for the coming week is unsettled and I think we will see more water soon.
