A little bit of sunshine through a cloudy sky in Foxford this morning, it wont be too bad today. Mixed reports yesterday, some anglers having good sport and others struggling. One Swiss visitor hooked four salmon on a flying C just upstream of Foxford. The water is coming back into nicer condition again and is now at 0.7m at Ballylahan bridge. It should be about right for fly fishing on East Mayo anglers waters today and spinning will still be well worth a try.

A dull morning in Foxford. The river has crept up by a few centimeters but nothing major. It is now at 0.55m at Ballylahan bridge.
