Another hazy morning in Foxford and another hot and sunny day ahead. The river is now at 0.2m at Ballylahan bridge and most of the rocks in Foxford are showing. Not ideal Salmon angling conditions and this will be the situation for the rest of the week. For anyone that is out there trying, the early morning and late evenings are the best time and realistically with the early morning fog on the river its down to late evening. A good alternative would be to try some beach fishing for trout or even mackerel, at least you’ll be close to an ice cream van 🙂
