A dry morning in Foxford, we may have a few showers but there will not be any significant rain. The river crept up by a few centimeters during the day yesterday, nothing major but a taste of fresh water helps. It is now at 0.28m at Ballylahan bridge and suitable for all methods. The best methods today will be prawn and Fly, spinning is also worth a try. We are getting good reports of sea trout fishing in the Moy estuary and there seems to be some Mackerel about, bank holiday alternatives perhaps. We will be closing the shop at Noon today and tomorrow Monday.
