A slightly duller morning in Foxford but it will most likely brighten up later. The forecast is for reasonably good weather for most of the week ahead. There’s a chance of some rain towards next weekend. We don’t really need a rise in water levels but some cloud cover and a bit of wind would help the salmon fishing. The river is now at 0.32m at Ballylahan bridge, it is suitable for all methods. Very few anglers on the river and those that are are struggling with the sunny weather. My advice would be to try something different for now and wait for a change in weather before going Salmon fishing. We will be closing the shop at Noon today and tomorrow Monday.
