An overcast and misty start to the day in Foxford. The river is now at 0.55m at Ballylahan bridge and holding a good level through Foxford, it is suitable for all methods. There are good numbers of fish entering the system daily. A lot of these fish appear to be moving quickly and not holding up for long. Up to now most fish have been taken upstream of Foxford, normal enough for early season. We are now getting reports of better fishing downstream. Rinnanney, Gannons, Armstrongs and The Foxford fishery fisheries are all worth trying. We will be closing the shop at Noon today ad tomorrow.
