An overcast morning in Foxford, due to brighten up and become windier later. Mixed reports from yesterday but a good number of anglers did catch fish and all methods worked. It will be much the same today although if the sun does break through bait fishing in some of the deeper parts of the river will be best. The river is getting low upstream, now at 0.3m at Ballylahan bridge however there are a lot of Grilse running and these fish will make their way well up stream even in low water. Anyone prepared to search further upstream for fish will most likely find them.
