A few dark clouds in the sky over Foxford this morning and it looks like we will have some showers. The river came up a little yesterday, peaking at 0.5m at Ballylahan bridge. Not a flood but still it will have helped. Reports from around the coast are that good numbers of salmon are arriving and I got a call from a very reliable source to tell me that a large number of salmon have made it to the Moy estuary. This is good news and promising for the days ahead. The shop is open today from 8am to Noon and will re open at 8am on Tuesday morning.
