Saturday 3rd Sept

The river is in very good order and the forecasted heavy rain did not hit this area (yet). The fishing has improved slightly with fish been reported from East Mayo, Cloongee and from the Fisheries downstream of Foxford, the majority of these fish are being caught on spinners but one angler had a very good day spinning a fly very deep. The outlook for the next few days is good with only a little rain forecast for early in the coming week.
