An overcast still morning in Foxford, the sort the Midges love! The river is in very nice condition, 0.38m at Ballylahan bridge and suitable for all methods. We got reports of some fish in the Ridge and Cathedral pools over the past few days which is a good indication of fish arriving in the system. There’s plenty of water for them to run so id imagine there will be more fish in the Foxford area today. Mixed reports from the Loughs but most anglers seem to be having good sport. Foxford angling club will welcome the Westport anglers to Loughs Conn and Cullin today to fish the John Gallagher memorial cup, this should be an interesting competition. I’ll post the results tomorrow. The shop is open all day today and up to Noon tomorrow Sunday.
