Another overcast morning with a light breeze in Foxford. The river has crept up by a couple of centimeters overnight, barely noticeable but the fresh water can often have an effect on fish. It is still suitable for all methods. I can happily report that the Foxford angling club were victorious over the Westport anglers on Lough Conn yesterday. Up to midnight it appears to have been a draw on the pint drinking, the final result of that part will not be known until later today.  The shop is open at 8am today and will close at Noon, reopen at 8am on Tuesday morning

Wet and windy in Foxford this morning. One would be forgiven for thinking winter has returned, its nasty. The river rose yesterday afternoon, peaking at
