Poor light but looking at the Big Rock you get an idea of the water level this morning

The rain has stopped. I could not resist sharing a quick video of the river this morning (poor quality but you will get an idea of the level). A proper flood, it peaked at 1.8m at Ballylahan bridge last night. Big and brown in Foxford this morning. For the short while I was there I spotted a few fish moving. Thanks for all the kind comments yesterday, back Friday.

  2. Thanks to Michael and to any other member of the Tiernan family who may be involved in producing this wonderful daily blog. I look it up each day during the fishing season and on Fridays off season. I hope that all the fisheries and clubs on the Moy appreciate the effort it must take to do this. Already looking forward to a better fishing season next year.
