A cloudy morning in Foxford but it doesn’t look like we will get much rain. The river crept up a little overnight and is now at 0.52m at Ballylahan bridge. It is still suitable for all methods. This little bit of fresh water should encourage a few fish to move. Overall it has been a quiet weekend with relatively few anglers on the river. We did hear of a few fish taken and a few fish hooked and lost.  Spinning should be well worth a try today. We will be closing the shop at Noon today.
