A misty morning in Foxford but no proper rain. We had drizzle for most of the day yesterday which has risen the river by a few centimetres, nothing significant. It is now at 0.38m at Ballylaha bridge and will be suitable for all methods. Reports of a few fish yesterday and with a few extra anglers on the water we should see better results over the ext 48 hours. Some positive reports from Loughs Conn and Cullen yesterday, its safe to say the trout fishing will be good in the next few weeks.
