A fresher morning in Foxford with a nice breeze blowing, a good morning for fishing. The forecast says it will brighten up later, not ideal. The river is at 0.36m at Ballylahan bridge. It is suitable for all methods but again today prawn and bubble and fly will be best. It has been a quiet few days on the river both from an angler and fish perspective. Not many anglers about and the fish that are moving are running straight through. There was a few caught at the back of the town by local anglers yesterday which is an indication that they might be starting to hold up. Hopefully it will improve over the weekend.
