A mild morning with a little bit of sunshine in Foxford. The forecast is for rain later in the day some of which could be thundery and heavy. The river is in nice condition, 0.4m at Ballylahan bridge. No great reports of fish taken in the past couple of days, a fish here and a fish there sorta thing. Not really sure why, anglers are seeing fish and the water conditions while getting low upstream are not bad. Trout fishing on the Loughs is similar so it may be something to do with weather. A few Grilse have arrived in the Moy and from here on we will see the Spring run slowing down, although I have a feeling there’s still a few good fish to come. Lets see what happens later this evening with the rain.
