A dull morning with drizzle in Foxford. The river is now at 0.63m at Ballylahan bridge and should be in better condition today. There was a heavy peat stain in the water yesterday which was not good. This was starting to clear yesterday evening and it will be a lot clearer today. Reports from most fisheries yesterday were slow, anglers were seeing fish but there was no great take. The coloured water will have been a factor. For today, spinning should work well and for anyone wishing to try the fly East Mayo Anglers waters will be worth looking at.
