A reasonably heavy band of rain passed over last night and it will have an effect on water levels. The river has started to rise at Banada and will start to rise in Foxford over the next few hours. Its difficult to say how much of a rise there will be but the water will most likely start to get dirty by lunch time. I will up date later this afternoon.

16.45 The River is rising in Foxford. It will most likely reach 1.2m at Ballylahan Bridge tonight and should be falling again by morning.
