The river is at 0.28m at Ballylahan bridge. Low water on the upper river but despite this sea liced fish are bee taken there.  Foxford Salmon Anglers reported 18 salmon for the week which would indicate that fish are holding up in the deeper parts of the river. Rinnanney, Armstrongs and Gannons are all worth a try. Some rain forecast for later today, it may not be enough to raise water levels but the cloud cover will be helpful. Tides are still big and fresh fish are arriving daily now.
