Some cloud and a little bit of a breeze in Foxford this morning, nice fishing weather. The rain forecast for last weekend did not materialise and water levels did not rise much. It is now back down to 0.36m at Ballylahan bridge which is on the low side for the upper parts of the river.  On the positive side, fresh Grilse are running and these early Grilse do not need a lot of water to keep them moving. Best methods today will be Prawn and Bubble and fly.
