Another wet and windy morning in Foxford. The rain has not been very heavy and has not affected water levels negatively. The river is up a few centimeters (0.37m at Ballylahan bridge) and will creep up a little more today. In the middle of the day yesterday the water in Foxford coloured up, this was sand from the Loughs following the strong winds. This colour will most likely last for a few days. The Loughs themselves have been virtually unfishable due to the strong winds, this should settle tomorrow. For today spin and worm will be the best methods.
