Sunday 10/05/2026

A bright morning in Foxford and water conditions in the Foxford area continue to improve. Further upstream , levels are getting low. It is down to 0.38m now at Ballylahan bridge which would be fine for fly or bubble and fly on a duller day. On the Loughs, the cold North breeze has had a negative effect. Most anglers having success seem to be pulling wets with only occasional fish on the dry. There is a good hatch of May fly on Lough Cullin and I would expect some better results in the near future. Best methods on the river today will be Prawn, Spin and worm.

The shop is open today from 8am to 12 noon and will re open at 8am on Tuesday morning
