Thursday 28/07/2022

A dry morning with the sun peeping through the clouds in Foxford. The river is now back down to 0.27m at Ballylahan bridge and is suitable for all methods. Not many anglers on the river yesterday but again some had good sport. Prawn and bubble and fly were the most productive methods. Overall it looks pretty promising for the weekend ahead.

A big congratulations to the Irish Youth Fly fishing team who won Gold in the Internationals held on Lough Leane, well done to all involved.

  1. Thanks Michael and Pj for the advice on Tuesday last, my young fella caught his first fish spinning.
A happy and tired angler by the the end of the day.
Thanks lads well see again soon.
