A dark and cloudy morning in Foxford, a bit more like September than July. We had some rain yesterday evening and into the early part of the night. I don’t think it was enough to raise water levels as much as we want. It is a start and hopefully in the coming days we will have more. For anyone on the river today, you could expect to see some fresh Grilse moving. If it stays dull and we have a ripple on the water I would try spinning. For anyone planning a trip I would start watching the water levels carefully in the coming days.
