A grey blanket of cloud over Foxford this morning but no rain. The river is very low, 0.18m at Ballylahan bridge and stones we have not seen for a long time popping up around Foxford. IFI re opened the Cloongee fishery yesterday, the water had cooled to 16.5 degrees. Best chance of a fish at the moment is with the bubble and fly or prawn and there’s some wind forecast for this afternoon which should help.
