A little bit of sunshine in Foxford this morning, something we have not seen much of recently. The river is in very nice condition, 0.6m at Ballylahan bridge and suitable for all methods. Still very few anglers on the river but those that are, are reporting seeing fish and a few of them have had reasonable success. There’s a fairly serious rain warning for tomorrow evening which could have an effect for the weekend, something to be aware of before travelling to fish. The local festival “Foxford Riverfest” is on this weekend and there is sure to be something of interest to anglers and their families.
