A dry morning in Foxford, pretty cool for mid June. The river crept up a little yesterday, it was a very small rise and is now falling again. Now at 0.36m at Ballylahan it is suitable for all methods. After the little rise in levels and with some fresh Grilse running spinning could be worth a try. Smaller spinners or a copper and silver spoon often work well in these conditions. There’s a mixed forecast for the next few days and into next week, very difficult to know whether we will get rain or not. We do need a good flood to liven things up.
