A nice morning in Foxford and the rain has finally stopped. For anyone going fishing its a good day for a slow start. The river is now at 1.5m at Ballylahan bridge but should start to fall later in the day. The best of the fishing (on the upper parts at least)will be towards evening. Some of the fisheries further down may still fish this morning and worm will be the best method. The forecast is for good weather in the next few days so with plenty of water already in the system hopefully the river will be in good condition for the next while.
