Lester shares the Joy of fishing with his daughter. Letting her play one of the three salmon he caught and released in Foxford yesterday evening. Well done Lester

A dry morning so far in Foxford, we might get some showers later. The river is in beautiful condition. 0.88m at Ballylahan bridge it has cleared out well and  is suitable for all methods. There has been a big run of fish and lots of anglers on the river in the past few days, most are having good success. Some of the more popular pools have been crowded while miles of river has been left unfished, Spinning will be the best method today and the angler who moves and tries some of the less fished spots will be well rewarded for his/her effort. Over the next few days the river should be in very nice order for the fly.
